The raised cup,  the tipped cup, garlanded with pomegranates and almond blossoms is symbolic of the Wedding celebration.  The cup is inscribed with the four things we wish for a new bride and groom:  Love, Companionship, Friendship and Peace.  A pair of interlocked rings, symbolizes the union.   Above, the fringe of the Chuppa bears the words "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine."  Below, "The song of the bridegroom, the song of the bride," is rendered, in Hebrew, on a musical staff.  This composition features   the use of dichroic glass which reflects light at all hours of the day
