| This
design for the Tree of Life was executed and installed
in 2001. A tree with roots extending into the raw material
of creation spells out "Aytz Chaim." The names
of the 54 Torah portions are aligned vertically. 613 colored
divisions surrounding the tree, symbolize the 613 mitzvot
of the Torah. The four phases of the moon along with ten
pomegranates, complete the composition. |
