and Michelle have been making a series of experimental paintings
on clear and clear antique glass using transparent enamels
in conjunction with traditional lead work. This technique,
is used extensively in contemporary European glasswork, provides
unprecedented freedom of composition to achieve subtle gradations
of color and gradient effects. The paint is applied, using
an airbrush and kiln-fired for permanency. |
