DIVINE SPARK" |

| Lightning occurs when the
Heavens touch the Earth. In this interpretation of Redemption and the splitting of
the Red Sea, lightening flashes, a pillar of cloud looms and a roiling sea
separates. Sound ripples the crackling atmosphere in a moment of elemental
power. |

Two sliding stained glass panels,
each, 109"x54", easily roll open to reveal the acacia-wood ark, designed and
fabricated, in collaboration with Caifornia craftsman, Mike Steffen. The matching
acacia-wood Torah reading table collapses and stores in the lower compartment of the ark. |
| In the open
position, set up for worship, a new stained glass setting is created, representing the
elements of Revelation: earth, fire, air and water. 613 dichroic stars are spread,
like sparks, from the tips of the flame, which is a letter shin. It is the cauldron
of creation, the tip of Mount Sinai, an image of the presence of God.
